What are you feeding?

 

Yeast feeds off of sugar. Cut out the supply of sugar to the body and the yeast will go away. Sugar is most commonly found in dietary ingredients....grains, starches, etc.

 

Well aware that sugar just helps yeast feed, hes on a barf diet, so there is some small amount of glucose from the vegetables.

 

I did quite a bit of research about this, and found out that sugars and potatoes don't seem to be the culprit rather it's a food allergy/intolerance. Here is a good article and I can see if I can rustle up the others Systemic Yeast In Dogs

I have a dog with systemic yeast issues (despite being fed PMR and nothing else for 2 years) and lately his skin is looking great. I wish I could tell you exactly what is helping, but I started giving him a few different supplements. He gets salmon oil daily, organic extra virgin coconut oil a few times a week, Primal Defense probiotic every other day or so, Berte's Immune Blend and Berte's sea kelp powder every other day or so. I especially saw a change once I started giving the probiotic. Good luck!
