I just bought 6 bags of the pre made raw to put in my new freezer. It doesnt fit. The food is in frozen blocks. Can I put the blocks loose right in the freezer or will it get freezer burnt. They are siting out of the freezer right now.

I was given a huge pack of that as a simple. Wasn't sure about it so I skipped on it for now. Bridget may never eat it so I'm not even sure if I should keep mines. I enjoyed reading the meat packages and knowing I'm giving her the right thing. Plus the price of those primal packs was too much for my wallet.

But I really do hope it works out for you. It is a shame that they don't fit into the fridge. I might have to start precutting mines before freezing. I've been feeding awesome deals on meat that may not last long. A little voice is telling me to stock up. A louder voice is telling me to wait till my dog gets fully adjusted.

Yeah, it will be fine. You can probably ziplock it, or use gladwrap and freeze them again individually. Dogs can eat freezer burnt meat with no problems at all, plus they are absolutely fine eating meat thats been defrosted and then refrozen several times. I give Mol some premade raw sometimes, to give her proteins that we don't get down here. Don't stress, everything is good!

I know you have finished the rush :) But I thought I would just mention what freezer burn is.

SImply its when water crystals get large and damage the muscle cells of the meat. It results in meat that has a very funny texture.

To our puppers it makes no difference at all.

I feed freezer burnt meat quite often as I am pants at stock rotation of human foods in the freezer.
