I bet Pongo would love this food. He always like the grain inclusive version. I know a lot of people don't like Eagle Pack, but I always got decent results even on their regular line. I used to feed it when I had Great Danes b/c at the time that was the highest recommended food for them. My coworker has been feeding her dog the Holstic Select fish formula for over 5 yrs. It cleared up all his allergy problems and helped with his seizures.

I'm thinking of switching Uno to slightly lower protein, around 28-32%, I noticed that as he's gotten older, his metabolism really slowed down and he tends to put on weight pretty easily if I don't watch his food amount and treats he gets. So I think this may be worth a shot, plus I get 40% discount at work, so the big bag will only cost me $36

I saw it the other day. It's probably an ok food worth a try. No insane protein levels, I like that. The salmon can fall down to as little as 3%, leaving the Anchovy & Sardine Meal as the number 1 ingredient. The Potatoes, Peas and Dried Ground Potatoes could possibly take over as the combined number 1 ingredient, no big deal. Give it a go and let us know how it works out.

Reputable company and probably good for a dog that is overweight or older because the fat is low. However, it is pricey not sure the "grain-free" version of the company's other food is worth the money. The original food looks better to me even though the protein is lower. The average dog will do just as well on it.

They should take all the nutraceuticals and fruit out and lower the price.

6% fiber is also on the high side but that is a clean-up issue. Again, though, higher fiber might be good for an older, less active dog.
