Not to project too much, but it seems a bit cruel to feed the dog the eggs right in front of the birds. Maybe take the eggs into the next room and feed them....

Oh i'm sure it's fine for birds and dogs. But the human in me objects lol. I think I really would go in the next room to feed the dog the eggs. That's just how we be in California.

@ taem lol i know what you eman about the hunting and stuff! i keep seeing all these free roosters on craigslist and think "i could ahve free dog food if i killed them myself" but then i actually think about doing it and its like...WAAAAAA poor chickies!!!! HAHA

those are button quail i incubated and hatched all of them myself i have 21 of them they are the smallest species of quail they are really easy to take care of but they are alot like finches they are only to look at not to handle htey are to nervous of little birds to really handle you CAN tame them if you work hard at it but i have 21 of them lol i cant work everyday at handling them.
here are some 1 day old button chicks i hatched they were my second generation and yes thats a real penny next to them not a camera trick
