I know bone is supposed to be 10% of the diet but some does require more.... my question is do some require less? Here's the deal: I'm at a hotel this week and I have to take the dogs out on the leash vs letting them out in the yard so I'm noticing their poop habits. I fed my sheltie bone on Sunday before we left... just a chicken leg. She has eaten tongue/heart the rest of the week and one meal of elk. She didn't poop Monday...Tuesday...Wednesday... and when she pooped on Thursday it was so tiny I could barely see it and it was crumbly! I didn't bring organs with me this week b/c I forgot but she gets liver/spleen/testicals/lung regularly. She had never had tongue and heart almost always loosens her up... I just find it odd? My other dogs only pooped once since we've been here but theirs looked fine. I usually only feed them one bone meal a week since their % is around 4 ounces a week. Should I add more organs to keep her from being constipated?
Thanks for tips!
Oh, I wanted to add before Sunday's bone meal she hadn't had bone since, I believe, Wednesday?
