Hello from NJ

Hi I'm Kristin. I'm a certified animal control officer and animal cruelty investigator. I train dogs most of the time and am currently getting my American Pit Bull Terrier ready for a variety of different competitions. I'm looking for information on feeding homemade dog food to my 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier. I haven't been able to find any good information on it and felt like this would be a good place to start.
This is my little bitch, Brandy:

And all 3 of my dogs together: (Jake is a 7 year old Pit Bull mix and Princess is a 11 year old Husky mix, both are rescues)

Hello and welcome to the forum. Don't know if I could do your job I think I would get to mad, thank goodness someone can. Are you going to cook it or feed it raw? Look over the different sections and start posting.

Thanks everyone! I havent been hired yet, but I've done some pretty crazy ride alongs with other ACOs. And as for Brandy's food I'm gonna be cooking it. I wanted to do raw but have no freezer space for all that meat. Once I move out that will be my next goal.

Welcome to the forum, lots of great info to be found here on many topics. Kudos to you for the work you are about to do, not so sure I could do it without turning into an irate angry fool. Thank goodness for people like you!! Your dogs look great.
