Just wanted to update on the goat, I was a little worried about giving a fresh slaughterer anything to my doggies didn't know how they would feed about it cause I had some rabbit that was fresh and they were kinda picky about it. Anyway they gobbled it up.

I didn't think the dogs could get through the leg bones, but they did just took them a little longer. So with that said I told the suppler that I would purchase a lamb if they had one. They are checking so I think that will be my next food item.

I have seen that some of you feed lamb regularly any thoughts on it, I am guessing that its considered a red meat?

Umm yes it is a red meat. I will be feeding lots of lamb this week as a friend gave me about 10lbs of lamb flaps that a slaughterer took away from homekill sheep. People dont want it as it is quite fatty, Stanley had a meal of that tonight with an egg.

This country is full of sheep but it aint cheap in fact it is very expensive, so I just buy it on special or go to local sheep farmers who sell direct to the public, beautifully butchered and packaged.

Lamb is definitely a red meat :) as much as it costs me a bit more to feed, it's fed more often than beef here. As grass fed lamb is easier to come by than grass fed beef lately (always running out before I am able to make it to the butcher.)
