I'm not an expert on diabetes nor do I have any close family members that have it. I do know that you want to keep carbs to a minimum when you have this problem. The best way to do this is by feeding your dog a prey model raw diet. I too am no expert; but I do remember this question being asked before. Not sure if the old thread is still able to be found. Maybe you can do a search to see if it comes up?
I agree with RFD, you need to limit the carbs and feeding raw fits that bill!
