I was wondering what everyone thought about Cornish game hens for dinner for our boxer and BC. Our Maltese could do a quarter of one I assume. The have them on sale at our grocery store and they carry them at our ethnic market too!! I figured I would toss them on the lawn and let them eat them.

My shelties love them and the collies eat pretty much anything. If I can get them for less than $2.00 each I buy, otherwise I just get a regular chicken. They are priceless for small dogs and puppies as they are just the right size.

Tobi eats them pretty frequently, and even our little foster noms them from time to time!!! :becky:

I feed them to my little dogs all the time, Shellie gets whole ones on occasion as well.

Mollie gets them every now and then. I buy them from Sam's Club, but normally cut one in half and its just about a perfect meal for her. It is one meat that Windy the cat will (almost) always eat, so I do try to feed them once a week if remember to defrost them. Perfect meal for a dog though.

I just bought some from my grocery store not that long ago, Ruby loves them!

Rosey loves them! :) I usually cut them into quarters and it ends up being a perfect size meal for her.

$2.59 is not too bad, I checked and our have gone up to $2.24. If I had a tiny dog I would still buy them because they are perfect for the little guys and even the skin(fat) is a thinnner consistency.
