Well, like I said yesterday Wayne amd I went this morning to the deer processer for all their left over ribs and necks. Two 55 gal. plastic barrels FULL of fresh deer! It was so much, we just had them dump the whole barrels out in the bed of Wayne's truck. We got home, put it all in huge trash bags and filled the deep freezer, plus the fridge in the barn. We took pictures and are tring to get them onto the computer to post here. Wayne worked for the last four hours to try to get it to work, but this computer just isn't reading anything on the camera. I think I may have to go to Best Buy and see if the geek squad can help. You have to see it to believe it! Every bit 350-400lb of deer. There is still tons of meat on them, and the guy running the place said come back anytime, because it costs him $150 to have it taken away. well, O.K. I will! Sorry if I'm rambling, but I'm excited!!

Ok, now I'm both looking forward to, and somewhat dreading, my trip to the deer processing place! I'd have to package some up, and cache the rest in a container in a snow bank!!

Definantly take big containers, or bags and have some sort of organizing in mind. We weren't prepared for all of it like we should have, so we just had to do what we had to do. But it's a good feeling to have our deep freezer completely full!!

If you've got some buddies or co-workers who hunt, they can probably tell you. I found the guy I'm going to be going to through craigslist. Searched for venison in for sale.
