From what I can tell it looks like a horrendously expensive waste of time and money. In all honesty, you'll be much better off feeding a prey model raw diet (most cost effective and the best for your dog) or a high quality dog food like Orijen, Innova Evo, Blue Wilderness, or Timberwolf like you're already doing.

With the Volhard diet, it even says "All you add is raw meat and water." Well if you're already adding your own raw meat, why the heck do you need her food at all? All it is is grains, fruits, veggies, and vitamins. You can easily get that cheaper and easier to feed (no adding of water and mixing it up) if you just go with a raw diet or regular dog food.

But don't take my word for it, check out the website and see for yourself: Volhard Dog Training and Nutrition: Behavior and Training: Behavior

It's a nice idea, but completely done wrong IMO. It reminds me of the Honest Kitchen products. But theirs actually have the meat in them, so at least that saves you prep time. Makes your dogs poop more than necessary and still isn't the best but great as far as a commercially bought dog food goes.
