Ok, so my parents barn is OVERRUN with raccoons and they are killing the kittens who live in the barn. My cat loving mom is really upset. Wayne wants to trap them and take them off somewhere, but then got the idea of instead of taking them off somewhere to skin them for the dogs. Now, I know coons carry dieseses, so I told him first I want to ask here. IF frozen for a couple of weeks or so, would they be ok to feed? I do know of backwoods folks who cook coons in pits in the ground and eat them, but I don't know about for dogs? No, I haven't lost my mind LOL! I just want to know before doing it.

I would skin them, gut them of the intestinal tract and remove the head. That's where most of the nasty bugs they carry live, except of course the rabies virus. Only cooking will take care of this. I personally wouldn't just for the rabies precaution.
