This has probably been answered in another thread, but I was wondering if it is acceptable to sort of supplement dry food with raw? I'm becoming more and more interested in raw feeding, but I'm not sure if I have the space and the resources to really make the commitment 100%. Is it okay to bump up the protein if the protein content in Jonesy's dry food is less than ideal?

Just figure 2% of your dog's weight as a total daily feed then offer up a bit that is half that size to substitute for a meal. You can substitute with fresh food for about 25% of the usual stuff without messing with vitamins and minerals. That comes out to 3.5 meals a week if you feed twice a day. So every other day if you like give the dog a bit of raw instead of kibble without worry that he isn't getting all he needs.
