Seth is constipated

He is really having a hard time pooping. Will pumpkin help with that? Should I start to give him ground chicken and not so much bone? Sadie is not having this problem but Seth eats more of the bone than she does!

I wouldn't give the pumpkin. I would instead just up the meat portion of the meat:bone ratio at meal time.

Exactly right ... more meat, less bone. You might get some boneless breasts to be part of his meal. Or you could feed a boneless meal every other meal.
We are learning all about this too...Zoey almost went 72 hours without a BM, I did give her a little bit of pumpkin last night and this morning, and gave her 2 boneless meals and we had a normal bm this evening. I was really worried. I am learning that not every dog needs bone with every meal, which is part of the raw learning curve, constipation means too much bone, and soft stools can mean not enough bone. Georgie is doing fine on bone with every meal, but little Zoey is not.
