So, as many already know, I have hopes of breeding Pembroke Welsh Corgis someday, not anytime soon as I feel I have quite a bit to learn, and need to find a suitable mentor first anyway. I was wondering something today as I was reading online....
I've found a few sources that say to not feed calcium rich foods during pregnancy.
I even found one page that says to not feed bones to raw fed dogs during pregnancy.
I have no idea what sources are reliable, so I thought I'd ask here. I can't imagine feeding no bones for two months time, wouldn't they get lose stools? Does anyone have experience raw feeding a pregnant bitch? Do you do anything differently raw feeding? Do you do anything different post delivery?
I've found some inforation on kibble feeding, obviously, just not sure about raw and what sources are reliable or not. Obviously I'm not breeding any time soon. (I don't even have an in tact corgi!) I'm just constantly educating myself so that in a few years when that day comes, I might know what I'm doing...
