Is raw catfish safe for dogs and cats? I think it is but just checking. I know pnw salmon and trout need to be frozen for a certain amount of time first.

It's perfectly fine to feed. Some people freeze all meats before feeding but I don't think it's necessary.

Thanks! I thought so but I don't feed fish a lot so I wanted to be sure my furkids didn't get sick.

Good to know, my brother feeds his dog raw and just moved to Florida with her where apparently, they practically give catfish away :smile:
