Is it ok to feed a dog cooked meat instead of raw meat? Im currently feeding my dog Orijen dry kibble and occasionally mix in Merrick canned food. At times I mix in cooked ground beef, fried chicken, steak and other meats with his dry kibble, is this ok. I was told in the past that table scraps aren't good for dogs. What do you guys think.

Its fine. The only reason I recommend people not to feed table scraps is...
1. they don't know what dogs should or shouldnt eat (ie: onions, raisins, grapes, etc)
2. many times the dog won't eat their own dog food after trying the yummy human food.
3. teaches the dog to beg.

But it really does depend on the owner. I feed my dog left over cooked meat, etc as a treat because no matter what, she loves her dry food and will always eat it.

I think that adding meat to a carnivore's diet is always a good idea. If its your leftover meat, make sure it doesnt have any intense spices or tons of fried breading on it. Aside from that, I'd say you're good.
