My Boston - 9month old puppy is a little on the skinny side.. I have been told several times that she needs a litlle weight. I am currently feeding her TOTW. She eats a cup in the morning and a cup in the afternoon.. I also add yogurt to her feed.. Can anyone give me some suggestions on a good thing to add for weight gain.. What about Satin Balls????

Most people think a well built puppy/dog is skinny because of the over abundance of fat dogs in the world. People tend to think fat is normal. You should be able to see her back 2 or 3 ribs and a definate waste line behind her ribcage when viewed from above. You should not be able to see hip bone or spine.

A little too thin is better than a little too fat. If you can't see her hip bones or spine, she is not too thin.

If you still think she needs to gain weight, is she eating all you feed her? If she is, feed her more. If not, maybe a snack mid-day. I'm not big on satin balls.
