How much variety are you able to include without it?I'll post on craigslist and see if anyone has some venison or bison they don't want. If that doesn't work out, I'll probably do without it. Or maybe like 2 lbs. once a month or something...
Right now, he's on chicken, turkey, fish, pork, and will start with beef or lamb maybe next week. This is the start of the 4th week on raw, and I don't want to get ahead of myself. I post asking for anything and everything people don't want, I haven't had much luck in vegas at all, but did get about 15lbs of frezer burned venison and about 10 lbs of freezer burned elk from one person in utah. He didn't even make me pay for it.
Another trick is to find someone who breeds meat rabbits to get rabbit cheaper.

haha! There's no way I can afford seven bucks a lb. on a daily basis :tongue:. Hopefully I'll get a $10 coupon in the mail. I do get them, I've just always thrown them away because I never thought I was going to feed him raw...Oh it would definately be great to add in, the more variety the better!
I am comfortable with what kind of variety I have (about the same as you) so I only buy extas when it's cost effective, I wouldn't imagine spending seven bucks per pound! But, at the same time, if you can afford that, go for it! game meats are great (dare I say the best?) for the dogs!
