I buy pork shoulder roasts all the time, actually that's probably most of the pork I feed. I also have never seen a cooked one on the shelf.
Whenever I buy someothing outside of the typical places/brands/cuts that I buy every month, I read labels really carefully to make sure everything is in fact raw, and not seasoned or basted.
