i have a 3 year old yorkie maltese mix, im thinking of switching to raw i just dont know how to go about the transition and getting everything that i need. i feed a grain free kibble but he still has dry skin and loosing hair i have read that a raw diet can help with a lot of diffrent probblems in a dog, but is raw kibble the same as feeding raw or am i better off just doing the switch completly and what do i start with. please help me

Well glad your here. My dogs have done well on raw, or should I say awesome. My female lab was almost hairless now she has a thick coat of hair and loves her meals. Good Luck and ask questions

You will start off with unenhanced chicken backs or necks even drummies will be fine. I suggest going to the following website for guidance to feeding raw...How to Get Started | Prey Model Raw

Also, there is an abundance of info on this forum to starting raw.
