I ordered a bag of Horizon Legacy puppy food. I was gonna get the adult formula, but the puppy food looks like the adult food before they started skimping on it. I looked at the ingredients side by side, and I found nothing unusual.

I never really understood the difference or the need for puppy/adult/senior, it's probably the same stuff just sold at a higher price, if you look for example at acana's food, the same type is for all dogs.

Besides generally being smaller in size, its also higher in calories. Theres also some difference in cal/phos. levels in large breed pup foods to control skeletal growth.

But considering that horizon isnt one of those foods, I think youre fine, just check the calorie per cup and reduce ammount if necessary.
