So I bought me some lamb breast the other day...30 pounds of it to be exact. I got it home, carefully thawed it, and then cut open the lovingly vacuum sealed packaging only to find a bag of mostly fat and bone.

I know that some of you on here feed this. Did I just get a bad batch or is this really what I can expect?

Lamb breast is pretty fatty, I have the option from my local co-op to either get it trimmed or not for the same price, I usually get 1/2 and 1/2, the dogs love it and the bone is super soft so they just eat it up and there is meat on it so they are getting variety. It is worth it to me even though it does have some fat on it.

It's not that I mind some fat, it's just that I feel like I paid for ONLY fat. :frown:

Don't get me wrong, there is some meat on there. It just seems like there is SOOOOO much more fat than anything else.
