This dog food is extremely grain heavy and the grains in this dog food are not the best quality grains. Even though there are 2 meat sources in this dog food, it contains mainly grain and very little meat. Because it is so grain heavy we do not recommend this unless you are able to add a lot of meat at every meal. Grain can cause allergies and other issues in some dogs. We prefer the Horizon Legacy dog food line.
