Hello, I have a French bulldog that had 12 cystine stones removed surgically at 11 months old. Given the young age at which he developed so many I'm not that hopeful. He is on a prescription food prescribed by his vet. I also supplement it with cooked carrots broccoli and raw fresh fruits. My vet has no experience with this type of stone so I'm flying blind. He doesn't enjoy the kibble that much but usually loves the veggies and fruit. I know his condition might not improve even with diet changes but would at least like for him to have an enjoyable diet regardless. I have been terrified to let him have anything besides what he's given. Can anyone give me some specifics on what to give him on a weekly basis that can be changed up some from day to day? I would really appreciate it!
