Hello All,

Just joined to learn more about ingredients & other things dogs. I have Jack Russells as well as rescued dogs. I love large dogs, especially German Shepherds. Also a horse owner & two cats share our place. Now I'm gonna sit and read and try to find out about specific ingredients that cause allergies, specifically itchy skin.

Anyone want to chime in on that one? Please, be my guest. Otherwise, I'll go thru the msgs and see if I can't find it in old posts.

Thanks!

I have a German Shepherd / Lab mix female that was suffering from itching, persistent ear (yeast) infections, and hot spots until I removed grains from her diet. I feed Acana kibble and only meat-based grain-free treats and snacks. I saw improvement in just a few days after switching and she is much happier and more comfortable now. All 3 of my dogs are doing extremely well on Acana grain-free.

Hi and welcome to the forum! Sounds like a very busy household you have there!
Trying grain free is a good choice in foods! Premium brands are the best!
Have fun here!
