I just got some litature on Steve's real food for dogs. It is a frozen or freeze dried real food. It says it uses 100% human ingredients and is inspected by the USDA. I am thinking about getting some, has anyone tried or know anything about these products ? I gotta believe it's gonna be spendy plus some freezer space.

I don't have personal experience or ever known anyone who does. I took a look at their website, and all I have to say is....typical. Looks like someone is just trying to bank in on the "raw" movement and sell overpriced, species inappropriate foods.

None of their links to the "scientific research" that provide support work, all the links cannot be found. Seems sketchy to me...

It probably still beats the heck outta most commercial dog foods available on the market today tho...

I have fed the freeze-dried nuggets as a treat in place of biscuits. Haven't fed Steve's in a long while as I only buy it when the retailer has it on sale at half-off, otherwise it's way overpriced.
