I take my dog for a run everyday through the woods and to the Crow River. The river crested and receded leaving a bounty of rotting fish that Winne just loves getting into.

I can usually get her to drop things but not the fish; she just chows it. She seems damn happy about it and I haven't noticed her getting sick at all. She doesn't eat that many really but she seems to get one or two a week. Is this something I should be worried about?

P.S. I know this isn't RAW style feeding just thought you might know if the fish would be harmful for her.

There are some fish that need to be fed cooked because of parasites... fish that swim upstream should not be eaten raw. They carry the parasite, from what I understand. I don't know much about it though, I got the information from my holistic vet.
Most raw feeders do feed fish once or twice a week. I know raw fish has never hurt my dog. (I feed raw sardines)
