With only 3 ingredients and a fat, this is a very simple dog food . It has been designed for those dogs that have allergies. Today, many dog owners feel that many of the ingredients in dog food are not needed by dogs, it is refreshing to see a food designed with these ideals in mind. While we would prefer to see a meat listed as the first ingredient, there is a good deal of meat in this dog food despite having potatoes as the first ingredient. The senior formula is recommended for aging dogs or dogs that require a weight control food. Overall, we do recommend this dog food.
