ok i'm feeding my puppy lab fromms large breed puppy gold. My question is on tha label it says to feed my 3month old 2 1/2 cups a day.. Doesnt seem like alot if I am supposed to break that up into 3 times a day. But I know it could not mean 2 1/2 cups a feedin that is alot of food which she cant even finish.. Feeling stupid and lost for asking such a dumb question.. Could someone help please..

The recommend 2 to 2 1/4 cup/day. Of course that would be divided into 3 meals. This should only be a beginning point. All dogs/pups are different and each requires a different amount of food.

Keep an eye on your pup's body and let him tell you how much to feed. You should be able to see (or easily feel in the cae of a long hair dog) the back couple of ribs and clearly see a waste line behind his rib cage. You should not be able to see hip bones or a spine. Thin is better.
