We just bought 40 lbs of chicken leg quarters from the local meat factory and I noticed that they all have half of the spine and some of the organs on them. I was just wondering if all quarters come with that included?

Thanks!!

Most all of mine have. It's like, the perfect meal! Meat, bone, and organ all in one. :) Unless you are a new raw feeder. In which case, you'd want to remove the organ bits.

Bonus! Those are kidneys that are stuck in next to the spine. Definitely feed them along with the quarters! I wouldn't remove them, even for a dog new to raw. They are small and the amount of bone in the quarter should do nicely to keep the stools formed.

If you have a dog brand new to raw, and you are seeing loose stools, you could peel the skin off and then slowly add it back in over time.

I always get my chicken quarters in 40 pound boxes from the local meat distributor, and they look exactly like that as well.
