I have been buying "good" dry food for years and although I believe Raw done correctly is better, I have not invested my time in setting up a balanced Raw diet for my dogs. I do spend a lot of time and money with their food though.
I add a lot to the mix: homemade bone broth, cooked meats and veggies, supplements and lately have been adding in Raw meat (supplementing with Apple cider vinegar, bone broth and probiotics per an article by Dogs Naturally Magazine).
As for the kibble I use mostly grain free, and lately I decided on Freezed dried Coated kibble from Stella and Chewys as I think Freeze Dried is closer to Raw at least and is an improvement over just kibble. It needs to be added gradually as it does cause some getting used to. My dogs had terrible gas the first couple days.
Prior to SnC's I was using Origen grain free.
