I'm looking for some beef heart now but just in case Koda doesn't like it, what are some other choices of beef, besides ground, that I can give?

Also, are ox tails safe to feed? I've seen them in BJ's but didn't want to buy without knowing first.

i tend to stay away from fattier cuts,....so for beef, i go for the bottom rounds, which tend to be cheaper anyway....and whatever is on sale...flank steak, london broil...

i really like roasts, so i can cut them into bigger chunks....don't know why i bother, since they inhale no matter how big or small the chunk is....

at some point, i will find a source from whom i can buy half a cow at a time......or i will find a place that gives me scraps and bones.

i don't feed hamburger because of the greater contamination, but many people do and who knows? i'm new...there will come a day when i might...

course, i'm a newbie, so others will probably have better and a more varied list of items.
